Good News Club at El Camino Creek
Good News Club, El Camino Creek School, Carlsbad

It's legal!
The US Supreme Court has ruled that Good News Clubs (weekly Bible clubs) must be allowed to use public school facilities on the same basis as other groups like Boy Scouts, Brownies, etc. We praise God for opening this amazing door of opportunity for the Gospel!

Churches are reaching families in their communities
Lots of kids from families who don't go to any church or who are part of non-Christian religions come to GNC, as well as kids from Christian homes. Whole families are being reached and becoming part of local fellowships like yours. Churches are experiencing new strength and unity as they minister to those right in their own "Jerusalem". Thousands of girls and boys are coming to know Christ as Savior and learning to live for Him at home and in their school surroundings. But most schools still don't have a club. Your church can be part of this opportunity from the Lord to reach all our public schools for Jesus Christ.

Thousands of clubs
Good News Club
® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF®), founded in 1937 and now serving in 158 countries -- the world's largest ministry to children. There are thousands of Good News Clubs across the country, and more all the time.

Teaching God's Word

Good News Clubs meet once a week right after school. Announcements are sent home through the school, and parents sign a permission form. The clubs are are free of charge and open to all. Teams of ordinary Christians with a heart for kids volunteer to conduct the clubs, and CEF provides free training. Each Bible lesson includes the Gospel message along with solid growth teaching for believers. There are also lively songs, a Scripture memory verse, and lots of fun games.

"What's our church's part?"
CEF deals with the school district and takes care of all arrangements for obtaining approval at the school you choose, as well as providing the required liability insurance (use of facilities is free). We can help you hold an informational meeting at your church for those who may be interested in getting involved. Once a team comes together (about 6 members), CEF provides free training and ongoing support. The cost of teaching materials is $40 or less for each six weeks the club runs (the length is up to you). Other costs are for background screenings ($9/person, voluntary), photocopies (flyers to announce the club and weekly handouts for the kids), and snacks and small incentive prizes if desired.

"Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it."
And He took them up in His arms, put His hands on them, and blessed them.

Mark 10:14-16
